Why do some stories stay with us?

In this four-week class, we’ll explore the timeless arc of the Hero’s Journey— used in everything from Star Wars to The Lion King — to unlock new layers in our fiction, memoir, or poetry.

Through weekly film clips, discussions, and writing prompts, you’ll learn how each stage of the journey can shape character, stakes, and transformation in your work.
